Diameter, width and clamping contact
Heater Band: Match inside diameter and band width to the barrel or nozzle. Contact gaps create local hot spots; the closure, terminal angle and available tightening space belong on the installation drawing.
Review expansion during heating and the equipment maker’s tightening procedure. Keep lead routing outside the hottest zone and confirm sensor placement for each controlled barrel section.

Description
Ceramic Band Heaters offer longer heater life, high processing temperature capabilities and full flexibility for ease of installation.
The built in thermal insulation limits heat losses and conserves electrical energy. A wound nickelchrome resistance wire is strung through high temperature ceramic bricks that sit on an insulation blanket of ceramic fiber insulation.
Ceramic Band heaters are designed and manufactured out of 8 years of experience, for superior performance and life expectancy. Primarily used for Plastic Processing machinery, depending upon applications, these heaters come with outer heat saving insulation covers, which provides the best combination of physical strength, high emissivity & good thermal conductivity to heat cylindrical parts, good for sheath temperature up to 500℃ along with Energy Saving.
